Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) attended the ceremony to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
The ceremony, led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, was held at the State Palace Ceremony Field, the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) on Saturday (08/17/2024).
On this occasion, Minister AHY together with the Advisor of IKAWATI ATR/BPN, Annisa Pohan Yudhoyono wore Baamar Galung Pancar Matahari, traditional clothing from the West Kotawaringin area, Central Kalimantan.
The clothes usually worn by brides from the Banjar Tribe are characterized by sparkling color applications and details, so that they appear to be bathed in sunlight.
Completing his traditional clothing, Minister AHY wore a headdress, jacket, trousers, and a short sarong to the knees.
Meanwhile, Annisa Pohan Yudhoyono wore a crown made of gold-colored metal in the shape of two dragons fighting over a gemstone and a pile of kembang goyang decorated with flowers.
“And a garland of red rose petals and closed jasmine flowers to symbolize purity,” said AHY while riding the train.
